I was looking through my stuff today and came across a figure I sculpted years ago. If it had gone through to production it would have more than likely been one of the last figures produced by Fort Duquesne (yes that long ago) Military Miniatures. It had to have been done pre Pf as it was not listed on my vBench. The figure is 1/16 and is based on an illustration by Canadian Historical Illustrator Francis Back. There are not many pieces to the figure as I wanted to see how few I could get away with making.

As you can tell the figure is sprued for production and the master pattern has very minor and easily fixable amount of damage from molding. Also pictured is a casting (pre-production ?) of the piece.

I'm currently in the process of cleaning the master and the three castings of the figure in the event that someone is interested in picking this up for production. A few folks have asked about it so here it is, enjoy. ~Gary

Gary, an excellent figure, especially like the detailwork on the hands and rifle. It would be a shame not to see this being produced and on the market.

Cheers Ken

Andreas, Thanks. I like making muskets/ rifles. It's more like model building and when broken down in steps it's not too difficult. ~Gary

I hope someone does take it as I suggested when we last saw one another. It is a beauty and offers a lot to the painter. Very colorful subject matter that hasn't been done much.
