I dared to my most extensive work, but I must say that was pure fun!

The painting was done in oil and acrylic, the snow is from Deluxe Materials.

Not only the figure is pretty well painted, but also the ground is very well done..., very realistic... And the base with that nice nameplate altogether look Great!

Amazing work Karsten just amazing. Like the complete package, no piece better than the other.
Would love to see some larger photos.

Johan, the Russians started trading along the Yukon around 1790, then came the British with the Hudsons bay company and very much later the Americans arrived.
If I remember correctly the Americans Lewis and Clarke were ordered to find a route across North America due to Scots finding and naming the McKenzie River and yes the Scots explorer was called .............

Just kiddin :) thanks for the clarification. Well anyway it is a very well painted miniature, groundwork is well executed also . I feel the work that has been put into this might be rewarded with a medal at a show (y)

@Nick, it took about 6 weeks time.

@John, the scale of the model is 75 mm, it is a model of scale75 from Spain.
