A Fixture
hi
this is my lastest work, wich took me quite a while to finish;
the mounted sotnik (officer) comes from Romeo models -75mm.
I changed its cape in order to have it in the correct altogether wind direction. (made with dental resin)
I removed the shield and placed it on the horse.
the horse which most of you will recognize, came from Pegaso's 75mm Vlad dracul, as I happened to have just the horse in stock.
It rather seemed to suit to the actual era - late XIV th century.
I scratched the saddle with magic sculp.
last but not least, I had a go at an orthodox banner, with all its usual rich patterns, and scratched it with magic again- it took me a long time to achieve the results I wanted.
the base also took me some work due to its large size.
I aslo had to take care of the wind so that it seemed to come from one unique direction.
everything was painted using oils (the base was airbrushed with humbrols )
the pictures:
hope you like it !
for those interested, the SBS (in french, but with lots ofpictures ) is here
