Thank you for the kind words. As we all know it for time to time we are our worst critics and so with that in mind I tend to be really hard on myself to do better.

A bit more done, tee shirt painted and shadow ares done, the leather jerkin painted using Artist's oil of Raw Umber, Vandyke Brown and Burnt Sienna brushed in well and then it was given a good going over using a dry flat brush wiping it regularly to remove the picked up paint thus leaving the darker areas and highlights all in one go.


Arm insignia painted in acrylics after areas cleaned off carefully with a white spirit dampened brush, and the zip and neck chain painted.
This will now be left to fully dry for a couple of days before any more progress.

Some dry-brushing using Artist's oils Naples Yellow to the jerkin, also attached the head.



Just three small items to paint and fix on, a dangling chinstrap, dog-tag and an Iron Cross.
