I'm 99.9% convinced I need these too.

I love that word "need" - I need them too. My old dear is getting a bit fed up with round figures, afvs and I've added busts and some flats... She doesn't understand "need". I haven't told her that I also need to update the front end on one of my choppers...

Looks great Roger!

You sure are prolific of late. What are you snowed in and can't get out of the house? Whatever the case, I'm ready to see more :D!

Joe

Thanks Joe.

I'm really in the mood at the moment. A few of the pieces I've put the finishing touches to have been lying unfinished for months and I've now got the motivation to crack on and finish them. This is my last week of leave so there'll be a few more unfinished to take their places when I go back.

I have just ordered some more MM Napoleonics,
I have told my wife that the moulds on these figures do not last long and they can only cast so many,
so I have to buy them now
PLEASE DO NOT LET ON.
Come on Roger get painting

Now that's inspiring. I mentioned limited production runs with respect to AFVs but I'd not thought of "the limited life of mounds ploy". I will keep it in my back pocket for an emergency order.

Cheers

Oh no I've just had a look at the MM website :wideyed::love: and I was hoping this would just be a passing phase.... repaint just the one and it would be out of my system.

Sorry but once you're in you're in - no turning back. Actually MM, Pegaso, CGS, MMM, Historex, SK Miniatures, El Greco, Tommys war and a lot of other sites should have health warnings as they're addictive!

Looking good mate.
I've tried but I just can't get into them although I fancy painting a mounted trumpeter and a Sapper.

Cheers Derek.
I love the look of the mounted figures but no matter how hard I try I always make an arse of the reins, bit etc. Too many fiddly bits for a clumsy oaf. Might be why I like my mounted figures to be flat. :D

I'm with you there. I've got a mounted knight I've been tinkering with for at least 15 years. I've either broken the reins, lost them and mucked up the gluing, each time it gets bagged for a couple of years. I'll have another go after the summer.
