Napoleonpeart, the lace is a mix of Scale75 metallic paints and regular (Reaper) matte acrylics. I'm using Necro Gold + Imperial Purple, Dwarven Gold + Chestnut Gold (matte color), and Citrine Alchemy + Buckskin Pale. All are roughly 50/50 metallic and matte. The purple for the shadow was chosen as a nice contrast to the brighter yellows. The other two combinations were just picked because they were similar tones. Next time around I think I'd like to reduce the amount of matte color with each successive layer. So 50/50 for the shadows, 75/25 for the midtones, and 90/10 or 100/0 for the highlights. That might give it a bit more pop.
