I'm a little behind with things mate as I'm on holiday in Jersey and the Wi-Fi is a bit temperamental here :)

Then I hope you have your workbox and a massive Moules mariniere frites and beer.
I'm so jealous, when you get back do me a Pm please of what you saw and visited mate,
always wanted to go and never have made the time.
Enjoy your trip.

Just catching up here! Coo!......that's nice, Paul, lovely tones. Colour mixes noted.....(y)
Alan

Cheers Alan good of you to comment.
The pelisse Is vallejo bright red base over a yellow under paint.
Then same colour plus a touch of black green for shading,
then glazes of just the red only for highlighting.

Hi Paul,
Like everyone else here I'm loving the face as well, the flesh colour with the touch of red giving him that expression of agro (a bit like me when I see the state of the kids beds and bathroom) is just brilliant. Will be happily sittin back watching this progressin.
Chris.

This is nice Paul , I consider this the hardest Nap figure to nail due to the dynamic pose, great work so far . Ron

Thanks for the compliment Ron, I was hoping to hear from a fellow fan des chasseurs.

However my vignette's easier that yours, there's only one In it !
It just takes an unusual base because of the extended sword arm.

Lovely to paint, it's really hard to put down, what a shame eh?

All the best and thanks again

I saw this last night. You know what you are doing alright, really nice bust. I could even be tempted if I had a British lancer chasing him.

Ha ha Thanks Tom,
I know you've seen it before the club meeting last night
And you encouraged me on a couple of occasions since May.
Unfortunately 20 years too soon for British lancers !
But not in your cabinet though.
If I don't get the chance to say so before you go, have a great road trip across the usa
Show 'em all over there the very best of being a british bawbag ;):)

Even the Rolling stones don't do so many places in as many days mate.
You take care Tom.
It's a big trip and well worth reporting on on this forum !
Hint hint ;)
