I've made some slow progress on my Old Men side project. The aim is to show that being old doesn't equate to lacking a certain style. The busts are 1/12 scale sculpted in Bees Putty and Magic Sculpt. These need finishing and there are one or two more to add. I haven't decided whether they will be available commercially as I'm not sure there is a market for them. I'd be interested in your thoughts

Nice Rob.
Love the jumper on the old sea dog.(y)

Super group, Rob, with lots of potential...In my part of the world fishermen wear dark blue
'oiled' knit-frocks against the cold and wet. These may superficially look the same but each
has an indidual knitted cable pattern, denoting the man's village. St Ives is subtly different
to Cadgwith which in turn differs from another place. It's an identification thing....should the
fisherman be drowned at sea his village would be known and his body returned to his family.

Hi Rob

Nice to see updates on your sculpting

All are full of character and plenty of painting potential on the all

The front one has a lot of possibilities ...a veteran or a ex hippy with a suitable design on T shirt

My thoughts are its a commercial group

Thanks for sharing

I think they are rather charming and I'd be surprised if they weren't popular if available commercially (I would say that as they are all about my age by the look of it:LOL:)
Nice work Rob.

I really believe these would sell very well. If I was you I would put them into production. Good luck, some the Sea Dog
