This was my first and last attempt at sculpting. I posted pictures of this figure a while back, the pictures were horrible, I retook pictures with my new camera and would like to share them with you.
I painted this figure in acrylics using the dry brush technique.

Hello Roc,

a nice looking sculpture. If I think about my first sculpted figure, it was not as good as yours.

You wrote it was your first and last attempt in sculping. I hope that doesn`t mean that you won`t sculpt again. I hope to see some others sculpts of you in the future.

Cheers,
Markus

Chris, thank you.

This is how I made the water :
I - shaped the water with Elmores wood filler.
2 - When dry I painted the water a very dark green.
highlighted with various lighter shades of green .
3- painted the edges of the waterwith different shades of brown, because the water on the edges is more shallow and transparent.
6- when dry I gave it ten coats of acrylic gloss varnish.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Costas, my friend, thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

As far as the skull goes, unfortunately, the one hanging on the Cyclops neck is the only one have.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Hey Jim,

I was trying to sculpt a French Hussar, but low and behold I ended up with a Cyclops, good likeness of my mother-in-law,

Hey Markus, thank you for the ecouraging words, they are much appreciated.

Maybe some day I'll try sculpting something else.
