Mike,

He must be a popular guy. One more to learn about. I am particularly impressed by the greatcoat. Its semi-treated leather is excellent. Makes me wanna buy such coat for next winter... [My wife would be extremely surprised about where I get inspired for my taste in clothing.]

Cheers,

Patrick

Hi Mike,
As a person who has previously converted one of the predecessor's to this figure I can certainly appreciate those extra details that you have added. Such things as the 44th cross belt insignia, the collar and hat detail, the inner lining on the sheepskin. I just love that face and the hair, I wish this head was available as a spare in 1/16 scale.
I would like see what else you have stashed away in your pandora's box of 20 years..........any 1/16 Zulu War pieces by any chance!(y)
cheers
Richie

Richie,

90mm is nowhere near 1/16th scale. I use 1/20th scale as an analog for "90mm". Notice that my 90mm figures are actually 90mm tall so that they look smaller than most "90mm" figures out there. I have little understanding why most "90mm" figures on the market are actually larger than 90mm tall. By that way of measuring i should be able to tell people I am 6 feet tall! :wacky:

Also, there is not much "stashed away" in my spares boxes figure wise. This figure was an all new sculpt using no previously made parts other than the basic armature parts. The pistol was converted from one in my parts box. Being on my "bucket list" does not imply that I started anything, but only that I have harbored a desire to do a particular subject for sometime. There are yet more hiding in my head........

Mike - you need to give birth to that Stauffenberg figure that you siad is rattling around up there. And no I can't afford to commission you....just fantasizing.

Hi Mike,
Something must have got lost in the translation! I was just wishing this head was available in 1/16 and not only 90mm, as I love the face.(y) Look forward to your next project.
cheers

Only just caught this one, great looking figure of Souter, looking forward to seeing some painted versions appearing at the local shows.

Cheers
Steve

I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag, but I did get one of the early castings from Jon before its release.
Amazing piece of sculpting, the figure is very well cast. Well worth having. A must have.

Don't know how I missed this one at Euro

Eventually I will get it somehow as Souter was always on my wish list, but for some unknown reason always stayed away from the "other" offerings

I've said it before Mike & I'll say it again......You are one of the Immortals of our hobby IMHO (y):wideyed:

Well Ray,
I didn't see you walk pass the stand so may be that's why you missed it ;)

I will have the box art with me at the GMMS show this weekend if anyone is going.

Sorry to everyone else as I am still having technical problems with the web site so this has not been added to the shop yet. If you wish to purchase one please PM and I will send details.

Regards

I'm sure I did however :wideyed: & I'm still some 20kgs overweight  so am really surprised how you didn't see me :giggle:

However John, it must have been me walking in a trance for sure :hilarious::sleep::ROFLMAO:

Are you going to Telford by any chance?

Ray your Friday has just improved..
I will be at Telford.. in Hall 2 up near the bar exit
Eddy's box art will be on the stand..
And if you ask nicely I might sell you one... ;)

I will have all the figures released at Euro with me..

Cheers John (y)

I'll instruct my brother Joseph & his 2 boys William & Jeremy to try & get me one as I'm not going to Telford

Sending some old stuff with them so to increase the Club's/IPMS Malta's participation in the competition :blackeye:

However, I am converting a combo of Mike Good's WWI Pilots to go with my bro Joseph's Aircraft :censored:

Will reveal soon here

Just wanted to ANNOUNCE that I am the PROUD owner of this GEM

Thanks John for being so nice & sold :ROFLMAO: one to my brother, even though you were RELUCTANT since I didn't buy it myself from Euro :blackeye:

Well, I am SERIOUSLY TEMPTED to PUT EVERYTHING ASIDE, clean & construct (both very minimal  ) this one piece GEM :playful:

For the 1st time in my life, I WILL be using the cast piece of terrain as it just CLICKS on to the feet lugs (or vice versa :giggle:) which become invisible :eek::wideyed:

Mike, this piece just oozes Immortality from every resin hidden pore (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

Hi Ray,
Glad Souter made it safely back to Malta and that the figure was worth the wait, it was nice to meet your brother also.
I will look forward to you posting some pictures of the finished model.

For those pF members looking to buy one you can get it online here

See you at a show somewhere in 2014.
Regards

Ray ;)

After what seems an age this figure is now available from our website, sorry for the delay but due to technical issues we have had to build a new website.

Please come by and have a look and if you see anything amiss please let us know.
