hello Friends, while being recovering from Covid19 at home i am thinking in 2 processes :

first : fine tuning the lasts steps of my Shinsengumi
https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/wolves-of-mibu-dg-artwork-bust.214842/#post-1053425

second : starting on to the next project:

as i wait for my Mr Lee's mini bust ... well, i have time in front of me and ... TIME :)
i actually got through my 25+ years old spare box and found an old sprue, Paolo Parente'S DUST, 2006. i think those figs were really a limited edition, and i never found them back on the net.

Quality is ... welll... what you could expect at best of plastic figures back in 2006. kinda best Dragon's boxes in this scale (1/35) details are really soft, but the whole assembly is flawless as long as you are used to build those kind of figs, i know it's strange but new generations don't have a clue about this, period.

so what was left on my sprues was from the following box :

so today, while staying at home and having hope that i will recover i did put some colors after building the fig from what was left :

sorry for the blurry pic : i'm shaking like i never shaked ... just breathing is a task in itself.

stay safe mates ! and take care

Hi Franck,

I have this set in the stash, as you say it's very rare now but I came across it at a show years ago and bought it on a whim because I like the whole "1946" what-if thing.

Definitely agree with your comments re the soft detail compared to what we're used to today, but it's still much better than (say) 1970s Tamiya figures and the jet packs especially are pretty cool. I look forward to seeing your further progress as and when you post any.

Get well soon.

- Steve

Frank mate,my thoughts are with you.Get better and get better soon, then amaze us with some more of your art.

Oda.

Thanks for taking the time to post Franck, sounds like you've been through it.
Really hope you get back to feeling yourself soon
Paul

I had this set when it first came out, but it was missing an entire sprue (which I heard was common), so I just tossed it. It's a neat kit, I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

Thank you all for the wishes, in fact i'm actually on day 5 after contracting it and, while still feeling really weak, there's some good news : i can breathe easily today, meaning no hospital for me :)
