Very nice painting indeed Geoff. You have handled the yellow very well. Much to be admired, and looking forward to the finished product.

Regards
Chris

Everything about this looks right so I would say that you are heading the direction of getting a really nice end result.

looking very good

Geoff. Thanks for the reply and the info on the 28th. Fortunately I have a copy of the Pericoli book. It is an excellent reference and my copy is well worn from use.

Thank you to you all, I'm so pleased this bust is giving a lot of interest.

Thanks again
Geoff

Fixed all the three pieces together and while doing so noticed a few touch-ups required so once the glue has dried I shall get my tiny hairy stick out and do that, then he is finished.

Hi Geoff

Good on you , really nice resuit , yellow looks spot on as does the shako

This would look really good slightly extended and with a drum

It's a great bust for conversion to other Regiments

Thanks for the SBS ....you've enjoyed it , well...."so have we !

Hope there's another WIP on the horizon

Happy benchtime

Thank you Nap, I don't know when the next one will be as I buy them when I can and that was my last one and we have a couple of expensive months coming up, but I do have some 1/35th figures in stock from my modelling days at the Tank Museum so a small diorama could very well be on the cards.

I would love to see the drummer in a different colour, I think Bob said he might do a couple, here's hoping.

Cheers

Sure something figure related will happen , do share the dio if that's what you go for

That's very nice Geoff. The yellow looks just right and not too bright for dyed cloth. I like it very much! Regards Pete

Greetings from Spain Geoff....great job on this one (y). Mike

Hello Geoff,
I like your bust too. Like said before, the yellow fits good!

Regards
Philip

Excellent piece of work Geoff - the face has the look of a young man, which is what most of these drummers were.
Coatee & lacework looks superb.

Great result Geoff, I will definitely get myself a drummer for this colour scheme, but I think I will search for a 120mm or bigger full figure as I also like the idea of having the drum in the piece, thanks for the inspiration.

Many thanks Guys.
I was pleased with the way the yellow mix turned out too Pete, Katjuscha and Philip.

Thanks for your greetings from Spain Mike and pleased you like him.

Thanks Chris, I tried to achieve that look and pleased you could see that. I was pleased with the lace especially after I couldn't manage to get the coloured bands on it.

Thanks Terry I do think I have seen a full figure of him but scale and make I have no idea, but I accept Nap will know.

Cheers All
Geoff
