Hey, all -
I'm working on the Pegaso Tuscan Knight figure, which features a separate, brimmed "kettle" helmet. On the underside of the brim, at the rear, is a raised line of material running from the edge of the "head space" in the helmet center to the outer brim.
That raised line is triangular in cross-section and quite regular. I'm wondering if it's supposed to represent a brace for the broad brim in real life, or if it's actually a vent formed in the kit's casting process. In other words, should it be trimmed off, or left in place?
TIA for any help!
