WIP Piper, Inniskilling Fusiliers.

[Cannonball]

Following on from my previous bust by Mick’s Mick’s of their Inniskilling Dragoon from the Boer War, I’ve now made a start on Mick’s latest release, a piper of the Inniskilling Fusiliers 1900. I’ve opted for the 2/3rd’s figure incorporating more of the kilt which hopefully will give a nice contrast colour wise against the rest of the uniform. As always the sculpt by Offo is really crisp and clean and their is minimal clean up and filling required. Everything goes together really well but don’t make the mistake I made of not fitting the pipe bag before putting the left arm in place. I’ve made a start on the face and hands in my usual oils (still wet) over enamels and will hopefully put an sbs on in the near future as to my take on painting faces.
