And if anyone bringing figures for display can spare maybe a half-hour to man the stand whilst I go off for a comfort break and a chance to spend my pension, that would be nice .......

Careful those tears can make a mess of your keyboard

Still I guess the organisers will be happy that they won't have to clean up after both of us have drooled over the new releases :D Fear not I'll also make sure all the fig rolls find a good home rather than go stale :ROFLMAO:

Your so harsh on me ...there's that much wet from tears it blew the electrics !

I suggest you wear a plastic baby bib everything gets caught in it ...crumbs etc

Blooming typical fig rolls as well

Sorry that I didn't come to say hello guys. I had a display on the other balcony and couldn't move around much. I fell down the bottom step in the entrance while carrying my all my trench models in. They are virtually OK but I sprained my ankle badly! Having driven home (80mins) my wife looked at the swelling and bruising and took me to A&E. I appear to have a small fracture too so have to wear a support boot for two weeks! Not the day I'd hoped for and the pain made me forget to come over your side.

Bloody 'ell, boyo,!! What an absolute bummer! Hope you are feeling a lot more comfortable by the time you read this. Mind you, I don't think the show was much to write home about, and I was there both days on PF's stand up in the gods. People through the door very much down.....not sure how the traders got on, but if they managed to just cover their costs, they were lucky.
Of course, I did my best to throw money their way, but made quite sure the bar didn't get any of my pension....not at £6.00 a pint for Doombar, ..not a chance!:meh:

Alan

Crikey Andy I had no idea this had happened.
it must be paetly the reason I didn't see you.
Hope you are on the mend soon.

Alan thanks so much for your devotion to duty manning the display with your wonderful dioramas and tableau....and to all PF members who contributed so ably.
we had so many items on display we could have had our own competition.
Sincere thanks to you all.
As you know I was quite busy on the door early on and at the stage later so couldn't pop up to the balcony much.
It was a joy and priviledge to host the awardd ceremony and to call out the names of friends to come up for their medals and prizes.
I am thinking we should do this all over again....soon :)

Hi Guys

A BIG THANK YOU to ALAN and PEEDEE their hard work and support and of course all of you that brought models for display

See you in 2020...all being well !

Loads on facebook mate.
I'll load 'em up tomorrow.

Thank you Paul

Here is one of my favourite a Silver medal winner for the display by Sascha Herm who also won a great prize of a £100 voucher from Tommy's War

image.jpeg

Here's a couple of others that I liked

Think these 2 are by Mark Taylor who like Sascha was demonstrating at EME

Also like this , unsure of the artist on the next

For many EME wouldn't be the same without: image.jpeg

I also noticed a great new release on FB from Hawk Miniatures

image.jpeg
, the painted version box art was done by Alex Long ....yes I will be getting one John as soon as its available !!

Nap

The buffalo was also by Mark Taylor. He's a bit good.

I took a bunch of pictures, which are all on my blog:

Hi Fet

Thanks wasn't sure but thought it might be ......I reckon a "bit good" is an understatement !

Thanks for the link

Nice pictures and congratulations on the GOLD ..do share a picture

This rats has got to be Marks , the nameplate gives it away as well I reckon

image.jpeg

One of the favourite for me was this cracking Juniors entry by Liam Hall

Yep, the rat is also his. He did it in response to my ducks. This isn't the whole set, and they're usually displayed together on a board as they were at Euro:

Loved the ducks Fet (Saw them at the BMSS first)
Got to say that I preferred the hand made plaques personally (I work as a signwriter so I'm a bit biased by such things) (y)

Great bit of work though and definitely my favourite model of the year :)
