Predator(pretty big)

Ok, I know it's hard to put this in the catagory 'models', but I thought 'What the frack, now they can see what I've been working on these past months'.

It's a lifesize statue commission of the first movie Predator.What's so special here is the fact that I'm doing the head in polymer clay wich is a challenge on itself.

I just watched the most recent Predator movie in the local theaters and even the shortest Predator (I think I counted three...?) towered over any of the humans! One source says Adrien Brody is 6'1" and another says
5'10". In the second Predator movie, I got the impression all five (six?) of them were shorter. Danny Glover is supposed to be 6'3". ??

Now you've gotten me really curious, Jiver. Seriously, how tall will your Predator be?

In the first 2 predator movies, the predator suit was worn by Kevin Peter Hall and he was in the 7 feet range.Considdering the mask made it about 5 inches higher, one can say the predator is between 7,5 and 8 feet(2m20-2m30).The 3 predators from the recent movie are suppose to be even bigger.They are from another clan.During the fight between the 2 predators one can see the berserker Predator is a head taller than the 'normal' one.But they did this with smart camera tricks.The tallest performer here is 'only' 6,5 feet.Unfortunatly, Kevin Peter Hall died in 1991.

The idea is to sculpt them and cast them in a semi-flexcible resin

That will look great and keep that "natural" look of the predator dreads.
