I've been tempted more than once Roger. I remember a flat set of marching ACW confederates that really draw my attention but I forgot who was the manufacturer..
Cheers

Joking aside Gerard I think you would do a very good job of a flat. Can you remember what size the confederates were you saw? I could try to find them, in the meantime keep up the good work on the rounds we love seeing them. (y)

Roger.

They were quite big 48 or 54 (i'm not used on scales for flats) Were rendered marching facing to the viewer

Watched your work in progress of this one and was amazed at the work you were doing, and the final result is just stunning.

What a materpiece!!

Nice piece Gerard, your work is coming along nicely,...stick with it mate, ...keep practising and before you know it you'll be painting like the best of them.

Of course, what I mean to say is that this bust is a jaw droppingly beautiful piece of art...Exquisite....well done Gerard.

YOu shall be satisfied! You made me sit down in a corner of the room and just start crying in silence before reading the 2nd line of your post!:arghh:

Hi Gerard,
After viewing your completed busts in the 2014 production report, I thought WOW. This just goes above and beyond that. Very, very impressive my friend.

cheers
Richie

P.S. throw all your hammers away or Roger will have you flattening all your figures:eek:;). I'm still in hammer withdrawal therapy a year on after mine were taken away.:ROFLMAO:

:ROFLMAO: Not a bad idea, since my cabinet is overflown already..I could flatten some of them and stick them on the fridge door
