Cracking start Steve. I have this bust also its an incredible piece of sculpting and casting. You have made a first rate start on this and I will be following progress with great interest.

That is a beautiful job on the flesh tones. I hate to sound as old as I am, but what the hell is that thing supposed to be, and what are the other JMD offerings with the strange hats? While the JMD military subjects I have are incredible sculpts and casts, their purpose is immediately obvious, while these others simply elude me. Are they some European theme that my colonial self does not get? Anybody?
