That's a beautiful diorama! Simple, expressive figure, tells a nice little story.
I agree with Jay - I'd like to know how you made the tree! I have a suggestion - the green fronds of the palm tree look extremely healthy, maybe a bit too much so. Most of the palms I've seen in Florida and elsewhere had some yellow in the leaves and those that weren't being 'maintained' had brownish grey, hairy-looking growth on the underside of the leaves up at the top of the trunk.
Just a suggestion - Feel free to ignore. Great work!

Really good work. Nice base to. only the Palm tree looks like he is made of plastic. There is no life in it. The tree itself is absolutely stunning. But i think you have to do more with highlighting and shadowing. Specially the leaves looks all the same. I know you can fix that, and man that wouldt be an attractive vignette

Dan, the pictures of a figure never aren´t very reals, you known. But perhaps some highlights in yellow... it was my first palm tree.
