I do not want to support any firm that steals other peoples skills. Is this a recast? If so I’ll not even think of buying it.

The figure looks familiar, though I cannot immediately pinpoint its source. However, it’s clear there are recasts among their other products (Seil, Pegaso, Andrea).

I don't recognise the figure but as Sergei says above, a lot of the others he's selling are recasts so odds are that this one is also.

I look at their other figures and spot the recast of the Le Cimier 54mm Napoleon and some Andrea samurai figures too. Pretty rough recast when compare with the original.

Its a very, very awfull recast from Pegaso's Owen Glendwyr. Stay far away from it, because the original is not so easy to paint and the heraldy is in the cast. I wonder if you can see the heraldy in the recast. I have my doubts about that.
So, save your money and buy the original.

“Planet Figure will not promote or name any recasters details by any means , members are also not to put links to listing on well known selling sites .”

Where's the logic in this exactly? People who don't mind recasts will find them on Ebay and AliExpress no matter what, but by knowing who sells recasts, legit customers know who to avoid. He just posted a screenshot, not a link.

It’s PF policy not to name or promote recastsrs in anyway , as sellers name was there I deleted it

The replies have ID'd the recaster, but if I may, I'll offer an additional tip for identifying a recaster, especially on eBay. That's the seller's location. If it's Red China, that is red flag (no pun intended, but I'll take it).

Same goes for other locations in SE Asia. Not 100%, of course, but frequently enough to make it a good warning. Also, the seller didn't identify the brand, though we know it, so many replies include it. That's another red flag.

Then, that the seller offers multiple examples of the figure is another red flag.

I would be leery of any seller located in the PRC or SE Asia, even if there was a picture of the box and packaging along with the kit parts.

It is what it is.

Prost!
Brad
