A very unusual figure, and very nice. It's odd that you describe him as a " Town Crier" , since he's closely based on a cavalry trumpeter in a series of paintings by Pieter de Hooch from the 1660s.Perhaps something got lost in translation. But whatever you call him , very nice.
I don't know from wich paintings came from, it was made by a litle italian brand, now close. The salers told me that all the material was sold to a british salers, the originale Name was: banditore rinascimentale.
