Hello all,

I have done somework on this Iranian teenage soldier from the 80’s this week. This one sat on the shelf for a long time also. Some minor details and then the sculpting will be finished. The base for this figure is the Stalingrad youthful pow figure.
Sculpting is done with ms and some duro. Equipment and weapon from the spare box.

Starting the painting on the teenage Iranian soldier.
Painting on the face almost done and blocking in the base colors.
I let the helmet loose for painting but I am not happy with the sit of the helmet and the sculpted on banner. I gonna correct that.

Thanks Nap.
I sculpted the banner way too thick for scale. Probably I only gonna sculp some fine edges of the banner on the helmet, leaving the bare helmet and then paint the detail. Gonna see how that looks.
Hope to pick up the project this weekend again.

Thanks Nap and Nigel and everyone for the likes!
I will consider that Nap, but I always feel my photography is not up to the standard to participate in such competitions.

Still exploring the eighties conflicts… Next on the bench is this Royal Marine commando on the Falklands. Built this one about 3 years ago. Added a SLR and a new head on this finely detailed Black Dog figure.
Gave him his basecolors today. Managed to snap off the barrel of his rifle within 2 minutes of painting…
