I has been testing some new skin tone but with out a good result, so the next pics you can see the progress from the base oil color, shades, mediumn tones, l and highlights, but I was´t happy so after the last pics, I removed all the paint and back to 0 lol (I now a lot of work but what the hell!!)

Ed, my friend , the flesh tones look good and so does the armor.

I would just accentuate the highlights and deepen the shadows on the face a bit more.
What do you think?

Salud.

Hi Roc, Thanks for your suggestions my friend, I´ll keep on mind, usually once I see a part of the figure finish (in this case the face) I don´t make any changes, becouse for me, this way is part of my learning, and I´ll try in the next figure, do it better.

On that way I can see more easy my pogress on my past figures, but thanks, I really appreciate your opinion and I´ll be more carefull in the next buddy !

Cheers

The flesh tones look great Edson...............look forward to seeing the chain mail. What is your mix for the flesh.....I like it

Thaks guy, the mix was:

after the Acrilic undercoat I used for the base oil color: titanium white, a little of Mars Yellow, and a touch of Lampblack) with a little of Venetian Red, these mix give us a pink color really ugly but you can add some Raw sienna to "kill" the pink tone and some of Raw umber to "cold" a little more the tones.

After that using "wet on wet" tecnic,

Shadows:Burnt Umber, Raw Umber, Casslerbraun (de Schmincke, gama Mussini)

Medium tones:Raw Sienna, Burnt Umber, y Burnt Sienna

Highlight:Titanium White

Tha´s all

Hope it help
Cheers

Nice job!

The metal and mail look wonderful.
Are you going to 'distress' or age the armor at all? Just curious.
