Howdy all,

I finished this 54mm figure last week. It's painted with Andrea/Vallejo acrylics.

Cheers,

Glen

Thanks!

Dennis: The inner shield detail was molded in.

Theodoros: The lion was based on some internet Greek shield patterns research which showed what I took to be lion... or a wolf, I wasn't sure; the image was small and fuzzy. You recognized it as a lion, so I'm happy!

Cheers,

Glen

Next on the bench...

Howdy Guy! Not sure what's next, I've got some options: a Seil Viking, a medieval flat (I've never done one), or a small gaming warrior babe figure. What I really have to do is do some routine maintenance on my other hobby (below). I tell people I don't get in them, I put them on...

Cheers,

Glen

Very nice work.

Now I´m regretting selling off all my unstarted Hoplites.
I bought some interesting figures from Under 2 Flags many, many years ago - fighting, lying wounded and holding a dead comrade.
Were they Greenwood and Ball?

It´s inspiring to see all these well finished Hoplites recently.

Spike.
