Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you good people know that there is a display of Ron Mueck's work here in Pittsburgh. If you're not familiar with him, check these threads...

It's at the Andy Warhol Museum and is only there until March 30th.
I know this is a bit late tell you and I apologize for that. I was waiting until I went so I could let you know if it was worth the trip. Well, time passes quickly and I didn't get there until just yesterday.
But oh my, it's simply amazing to see in person.
I've seen his style described as "hyper-realistic" and it's appropriate.
You'd swear that if you placed your hand on them, they would be warm and soft to the touch. Seven pieces total on display. Several pieces I recognised and several I hadn't seen before.
My only regret was that no photogaphy is permitted.
Well worth the trip if you can make it.
Craig
