Thanks Mike and Pedro.

A tiny bit of touching up required in a couple of places, then I'll leave it alone.

Morning Peter

Well done, a weeks work and what a result, got to be at the top of the list, front of cabinet.

I guess a figure will be a change of pace and a refresher, lots of olive drab and field grey to change the palette.

Have a good weekend and new project

Regards

Steve H

Hi Steve

I spent some time last night refining one or two areas and adding detail, but he's safe in the cabinet now. I think I'll work on a couple of simpler Verlinden busts next, which are always fun.

Keep warm.

Out of interest which areas /details did you refine ?

Bet he looks great in the cabinet

Look forward to the Verlinden from you

Happy benchtime

Hi Nap

Things like the wood grain on the head of the hobbyhorse, filling in some of the cordage that I'd missed, refining the detail on the bag of fruit etc. I'd earlier also altered the shading on the face to allow for the shadow cast by the hat brim. When I'd done that, I spent some time sorting out some niggles on other recently completed busts in the cabinet - just tiny details but things that kept drawing my eye. Obsessional, moi?

Hi Peter

If possible can you do more pictures ..I would like to keep them in my files and I am sure all would welcome them

Not obsessional ..just a skilled painter and hopefully enjoying the benchtime

Look forward to the next

Nap

It’s that “obsessional “ eye of yours that drives both your quality of output and your will to improve Peter. When allied with your obvious artistic abilities it results in consistently high results such as this. They are a joy to behold!

Nap - If you don't mind, it's really not worth taking more photos as the adjustments are infinitesimal and can't really be seen.

Tim - My obsessional traits come as a result of anxiety and depression, so they can become a real problem . Keeping them in check is the key.
