Officiating up to the usual standards again last night. When France had a lucky escape both on the field and the scoreboard.

I really felt sorry for the Australians yesterday, but still celebrated the fantastic result of the Welsh team.

I enjoyed Japan vs Samoa.
Although Japan need to learn to pass more.
Certainly blew two tries by not doing.

As soon as that try line appears, most players seem to revert to a 10 year old soccer player (one goalie and ten centre forwards!). Time after time players have gone to ground after a tackle when a pass would have resulted in another player scoring a try.

That was a hell of a good game.
Would've loved to have been there.
Even the ref wanted Chile to score. It was disappointing when their first was disallowed.
I love the Pumas and hope they progress. Mind you, I would like to see Japan do the same; can't be both though...

Fiji - Portugal: What an absolute nailbiter and cracker of a match. These were the 80 best-spent minutes of the whole RWC for me so far.
Massive congrats to the Portuguese team!

Portugal vs Fiji was one heck of a match played with great spirirt and elan. Portugal win, Fiji go through and the Aussies go home..................

What a weekend of rugby with NZ vs IRL yesterday and France vs South Africa today. Four magnificent teams and really narrow margins. And again I'm in absolute awe as to the level of fitness of these players - unbelievable.
Very much looking forward to the next 2 weekends.
