...I add leather protection straps to the shoulders and a decoration strap under the body armor...

...the cloak is also added and now it's time to give character to the figure's face by adding beard and hair...

George thank you for your kind words and info, I know exactly what I will paint, I have made my recearch, you know I love this historical period many many years now.

The miniature is on the final steps, there are some few details to add before I start to paint it.

Here is a photo from the neck's chain mail. I make it very thin, I "stick" it on a hard surface using vaseline and I engrave the "c"s for the chain mail.

...the chain mail that covers the neck. I like the result, it's the first time for me using this technique but it works. It's time now to put the stirrups, a mace, a sword, some arrows, the shield needs some improvement and finally the figure is going to complete (I am getting tired). Soon the last photos. (y)

...and finally the shield and mace are also finished.


These are the last photos of the completed figure (maibe I will post some more with the figure primed) :cool:

Great project Christos!

I think the textile on the horse need more wrinkless (I know, it's not so easy), but the whole composition is excellent!
