I have been using Andrea Paint Sets for a while now and wanted to try another brand. My choice was the Scale 75 Flesh Paint Set as it seems to include more colours in the pack so I would have more choice when it came to painting. All I can say is that I made the right decision with more choice of colours my figures are now much better (in my humble opinion) but I will still use the Andrea sets for the clothing and equipment. I would highly recommend trying out Scale 75 to anybody.

Hi Carl ,
All I can do is agree I really like using Scale 75 stuff ...waiting till Historex get the Black and White set in

I particularly like the NMM sets , the green and red sets are also good

Have you tried the primer yet ??

Interesting stuff! .. as all of the sets that I have bought from Andrea! have been 'Knackered',... I was looking at Scale 75,.. and the NMM's (y)

Tubby-Nuts2 I cannot rate them enough did some more painting last night and can't believe the difference, so much easier to use and more variation as Andrea only has Base and highlights, where Scale 75 has different shades.

I'm with Carl on this I can't rate them enough. and I'm the process of switching all my acrylics over to Scale 75. I've been very disapointed with the Andrea paints recently, full of lumps.:(

Scale 75 paints are far superior.:)

Interesting. How about if you work the surface with many layers of very diluted paint. Does it get shinny like Vallejo or stay death matt just like Jo Sonja's?
