Yea, those look gorgeous. Im trying to copy it myself but im having an issue right at the start.

How the hell are you getting those wires to twist so cleanly and tightly. I tried it and came out with one heck of a mess, each time I tried.

Thank you very much guys (sorry for slooow reply), I'm surprised there's still a lot of people watching this thread.

OK, first, basically, think "thumb wire and other 4 fingers' wires". line up 4 fingers' wires on the desk (no spaces between each wires). you can tape the finger tip edge or clip it to make it stable.

Then, put the thumb wire on it (like a angled cross), then bend 4 finger wire carefully to wrap the thumb wire.

If you successfully finish STEP1, glue the root of the 4 wires which is the wrist area with superglue to handle it easier when you move onto STEP2.

Hope this helps.

That does help a bit.
where do you get wire thats so straight, all wire I have is curved or twisted in some way or another if only from being on a spool.

Also, I notice your from okinawa, hope you and your family is safe after the earthquake/tsunami. They havent told us much about places other then where it hit, the fukishima nuclear plant, and tokyo.

Take a piece of your curled wire and grab each end with a pliers. Stretch it until it breaks and it should come out straight.

Yes, as James mentioned, I always just "Grab both end with my hands and stretch it as strong as I can". :) Both end will bend and twisted strange ways but I just cut them off.
