Well a panatella is so much easier to make than a pipe, but harder to keep in one piece than a pipe in the field.

Back from the Shire, oops I mean Cornwall and nearly rested after the journey. Just need to sit at the bench for a while to feel complete again.

So this afternoons progress has been duly recorded, I have had a bash at the face and hands, need to sit back and see what needs improving with fresh eyes. Also made a start on the boots and gaiters as I prefer to work from the ground up after the skin work. Just an initial couple of coats of SC75 Blood Red to start his trousers.

Got the demon child back in the morning, as if I didn't have enough last week, ah well no rest for the wicked, so no more painting till tomorrow afternoon.
