What a crazy of a good job, i love every detail on it.
Will you share the mixes for your Red facings?, i've always seem to have a little problem with the reds and crimson, they come out a little dull.
Best rgards

I started to paint this one this summer (July). It was very hot weather. My Acrylics, even with wet pallet, dried too quick....
So I had to use my Oils.
As you know, I only paint with primary colors.
So to paint my reds ( crimson) I had to avoid yellows in my base mix.
So I used a bluish red. I used a green blue for shades and a bit or Cadmium Red Light in the lights.

Then later, when the weather cooled down a bit, I sprayed a mate cote (Mr Super Clear) to be able to continue with acrylics.

So I painted over my reds, but not completely covered my oil work.
I used the same kind of colors and restrictions.

In fact, my painting is a lot of layers of colors. They are not necessary exactly the same mixes.....
That gives deep and richness.

And I do that to every parts of my miniatures.

A think the face has been painted 3 or 4 times. The whites 3 times at least.....

Dont be afraid to paint over your precedent work. :)
