WIP Spare heads.

I have three spare heads from various busts and thought I would paint them up, for a bit of practice, while the Artist's Oil paint was drying on my current WIP Bust.

The first one I have painted was from CGS's 1/9th French Infantry 1796.



I have a slouch hat from Stormtrooper's 17th lancer during the Boer War that I have made to fit him but just need to rough it up a bit for him to be an Aussie in the outback.

You are getting silly now mate, I have been bending the rim a bit in hot water and pleased with it.

Just a thought !!! That's some careful bending needed on the rim ......look forward to seeing the result

It's done Nap, primed and base coated, amazing what freshly boiled water can do and a bit of finger work then cold water.



Now to do some playing with colour.

Thank you Guys, I have now given the hat some colour but it has got a shine so will have to let it dry well before giving it a flat coat.

Hat played about with and attached to head, I think it needs a bit of highlight dry-brushing before he's done.





Will leave glue to dry before touching him again.
