Just to clarify a point raised in a number of emails received recently.
Foxwood Figures does own the ex-Spearhead range of figures and all the full figures are still in production and still in stock. The two busts from this range are currently sold out but will be back in stock later in the summer.
As a reminder, the figures - and prices - are:

WW2 British Paratrooper £55

WW2 200mm BRITISH PARATROOPER.jpg

WW2 British Tommy 1944 £50

WW2 200mm British Tommy.jpg

WW2 British Desert Rat £55

WW1 British Tommy £50 WW2 200mm BRITISH DESERT RAT.jpg
WW1 Tommy side - Copy (480x640).jpg

Although not launched as a Spearhead figure, we also bought from Pete Morton a WW2 German Panzer Grenadier 1944 £50

WW2 German Panzer Grenadier 1944 (437x640) - Copy.jpg

A number of conversions based on these figures will be available later this year, starting with a number of WW1 conversions to Grenadier Guards 1914, sculpted by Mike Wilkinson. One of the figures will be based on my Grandad who joined the Grenadier Guards in 1911 (along with his brother) and both marched off to war in August 1914 as part of the BEF and fought in all of those historic early battles....and both survived the war despite numerous wounds and trench foot.

Good to see your plans slowly coming to fruition. I'll post photos of the Grenadier Sergeant in due course.

I prefer this pose and headgear to the original. I did a number of hats and caps in this scale for Foxwood, and hope the Pith helmet and assorted slouch hats come to be offered in due course. This figure also has the option of carrying his rifle in both hands, but I suspect it will be a while before that option is offered. Of course this cap could be offered with the WW2 infantryman as well.

Here's one I did earlier (Corporal, Glosters in Salonika, 1916 - modern day Thessaloniki):

Look forward to the Gren Guard figure, looks superb. I have the desert rat and WW1 figure, both are brilliant.

Hello Jackie

If you publish online examples of painting figure and photograph by me as a commercial advertising recall is that the photos are mine and are subject to immediate copyright. Please remove photos from the forum or to provide information that I am the author of image and the sample of painted figure .

The two WW1 Tommies shown latterly are mine, and the photos are not copywright.

Hello Everyone,

Can I just clarify this thread?

The original Spearhead pictures were sold to us by Pete Morton when we purchased the figure range from him.

The 200mm WW2 German Panzer Grenadier was also a Pete Morton sculpt that, allegedly, was to be a Spearhead figure but was never released as such. It is therefore a figure we purchased directly from Pete Morton and the following pictures of a painted figure are by Michal Mamelon. Our apologies to Michal for not confirming this point when we first started the thread.

The pictures of the WW1 Tommy are Mike Wilkinson's and are based on his conversion of the original Spearhead figure. Mike has also converted the same WW1 Tommy into the following figures for us. A full announcement on these figures will be made in October.
