Hi Guys,

thanks for the encouragment once again.
Emmanuel, this is a remodelled DML figure from the Panzer-Meyer set with a Hornet head.
I'm hoping to steal some time this weekend to at least complete the back of the camouflage smock. :)

cheers,

Calvin

Hey,Calvin,GREAT JOB on the camo (y) (y) !!! BTW,Barry King sent me some World Expo brochures and had asked me to pass one to you. Drop me a mail so that we can work out how to do that, won't you ? Thanks and cheers !

Hmmm please Calvin let me know...
DML + Hornet... wouldn't be the ref HGH 03 ( Helmet with SS camo, got this set) ?
Bloody hell!! How do you achieve such a lifelike face?!?
Well, I must go back to my brushes and try to improve my painting of faces...
Thanks for the info and keep up sharing your work with us (it's a great motivation, at least for me!)

More progress over the week....

Kenneth, thanks for the thumbs up. Just pass the brochure over to Dinesh when you see him. August is a very busy month for me to meet up :(
Emmanuel , the head is from HGH03. The eyes and brows were resculpted to depict a tense situation.

cheers,

Calvin

Calvin the figure looks absolutley brilliant. I'd love to know your technique for painting the oh-so difficult SS camoflague. ANyway - great figure and great painting! keep it up!

Great fig! The color of the trousers is very realistic. Will the camo of the tarnbezug different from the tarnjacke? (just for fun?)

Great work on the camo (and on everything else as well)! Boy, do you make these Dragon figs look nice!

Fredrik

Wooww a lots of grand master here in.
Tell me more about your technic for the wood from the granat in the hand.(Yes I know its the littlest piece from your figure, but I am interested.)
is that 54mm?
uhhh.

Hi guys,
the texture of the wood grain is created with successive glazes of Vallejo Beige Brown and Cork Brown with a 000 brush over a black undercoat. A wash of Talen's acrylic ink was finally glazed over to provide a stain finish. HTH.
