Another figure mostly done...a bit more to do on his fur cap, sash and long arm. Ignore the damage to the background under Ney's bayonet.

Almost done - just need to finish the two guys lower right (tomorrow AM) and do touch up to get he shading and light fall right. And add snow to the ground and on the figures. I am thinking of using Liquitex iridescent white for the highlights. He is mounted in a dollar store picture frame on a white foam meat tray....looks a little snowy.

I really like the coloring book. Fun video. What is the color booklet you keep referring to? And what kind of pens are you using?

See the Amazon link under the video. Dover do lots of Adult colouring books. The Napoleonic one and ACW one are OOP but available in the secondary market. We used to take a bag of these and coloured pencils with us to restaurants with our five kids and had the best behaved children around. :) i didn't use markers. Prismacolour pencils were the answer for me.

Oh s**t, I did it again. I blinked and you'd finished it.
The 'box art', while very well painted, gave me the impression of a number of individuals posed together.
Your version is so impressive. The group is blended and looks totally interactive.
Very, very well done.

Cheers
Andrew

I have hardly had time to draw breath and its finished.

looking more carefully; don't hesitate to enhance the light spots in order to increase the visibility of the light direction coming from the right.

you can go up to pure white in some distinct areas, where the light hits the uniforms most (hope I am clear ...)
