Had another dabble at the DPM I'm only using the outlined area for now to get the look right, as it will be covered over completely on the assembled figure. As ever all comments welcome, after taking the advice on board think it looks better now, but open to change

Hi Steve,
looking well mate. For what my humble opinion is worth don't be afraid to let the brown swirls overlap the green as they seem to be a little separated (if that make sense) it always looks to me when they make the uniforms that the green is laid onto the base colour then the brown is laid onto that then the black on top. Cant wait to see this finished
Cheers John I think I may need to make the brown bigger or bite the bullet and try it on bit that's made to be shown and isn't broken up with locating slots etc and see how it looks
Steve
Okay crunch time bit the bullet and have done the jacket, to me it looks ok but there are far better/more experienced painters on here who can judge it better than I can so what you think folks ? A lot of the rear will be hidden as you can see hence why it was the tester
Steve
He (you I guess) is really shaping up into a great piece Steve. Comparing your camo' to other examples I have seen you are right on the money. Good work mate, your brushwork has come on in leaps and bounds. Cheers, Keith
Thanks Keith any credit to my brushwork really goes to all you guys who have offered advice and criticism in the past I'm just following your lead much appreciated mate
Steve
Done the trousers now and on the advice from Gells run a green wash over smock and trousers to blend it in. I've also added the respirator bags which were surprisingly tricky to paint as they needed a semi gloss sheen, which after a bit of trial and error I think I've got to look about right. As ever please comment especially on the DPM as I'm really out of my comfort zone on it
Cheers
Steve
