Hello all,

I had lots of fun painting this 1:35 figure of an Syrian infantryman standing on guard on Mount Hermon in harsh weather during the war of attrition in the Bashan Salient.

The figure is an conversion of an CMK US soldier with an Verlinden head and sculpted hood.

The sculpted on M1 rifle was carved off and replaced with an 3D printed Dragunov rifle from our fellow member Venko.
The boots were replaced with modern ones from Firestorm models.

All is painted with acrylics

Thanks for watching.
regards,
Robert Jan

Hi Robert

Lovely effective conversion and good to see Venko's weapons being used as well

Your painting really brings out the character of the subject , well presented as always
