Hi all, here is my latest, the Tang General from Linjo. A real pleasure to paint with such incredible detail and superb moulding. Hope you like him.

This bust is fantastic!
What kind of paint have you used?
I like the chainmail.
Bravo.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Mauro it is oils with Vallejo for metallics. Ulrich please do, you will not be disappointed. Ron I am glad you like the yellow it was the hardest part of the painting and has six different shades to achieve what you see.

Yea ,Yellow is a difficult color to work real tricky, as is light blue, some are easy and others not so,I have never tried Vallejo metallics but they look great on your figure.

A tip for ya Ronnie, I use the Bronze as a basecoat no matter what metal I am aiming for.
It seems to add a depth to the others. Look at the helmet on the general and you will see what I mean, I hope !

You are right there is a lot off depth.
I paint in oils, and the little forays I have had with acrylics have been so so.
But always struggled with the bronzes and golds, mainly to grainy.
do you dilute to blend.
