I’ve still got a few of your pieces in my ‘to do’ collection John, but I had actually forgotten just how many great ones you’ve produced over the years!

Mr BMB yes i sculpted the big Sci Fi dude probably 17 years ago....

thanks everyone for the compliments ....and been crazy seeing all this work again in one place

Beautifull showcase of some amazing work here!!!(y)
Like'em, all of them and also your 'new' airborne.
As said elsewhere, love the little 'french' senic base…!!!

Very inspiring! All of it!

Cheers
Erik

Thanks John I thought it was yours. Amazing how many you have done and that's not all of them!!

John I don't think you have sculpted enough figures for this one!!! :ROFLMAO: Also the guy sitting on the side of the tank with the abs, were you watching Predator again when you sculpted him :)

Correct there was a SBS in Pat Stansell's magazine many years ago of the 1/16th Tiger built/super detailed by Jim Sullivan and painted/finished by me. I sculpted all those figures to go with it for Jim's S&T

What a great thread this has been. I have watched from the sidelines. So many fabulous figures from over the years.
Congratulations to John for sharing his talent with us and also to Mr BMB who is obviously a great fan for the photos.

I will definitely be buying the Alpine 101 Airborne and hope new figures are produced in the future.

Peter.

Thanks Peter I am glad you are liking it...……………………………………………….I may have hijacked John's thread :notworthy: so apologies for that John

Thanks John and all the other guys for posting the older stuff!

"Calm Before The Storm" is a particular favourite of mine, not least because I first saw it about 10 years ago gracing the cover or the French-language AFV modelling mag "Steel Masters" in a shop in - of all places - Malmedy in the Ardennes. It just seemed to fit the setting! So I bought a copy and immediately retired to the nearest cafe to peruse the contents. Great memories!

Don’t think you have hijacked John’s thread MrBMB, you have helped showcase his work. I have been around a few years and sadly have let these works pass me by. I would think the older works go for a premium, if you can get them.

I do know where I can get the Pegaso 200mm 101 Airborne for a very reasonable £50 Sterling.
Peter.
