Hi John, and all.
Wow what a thread!

I believe I'm the first guy who painted this 1/6 Normandy guy as far as I know. I paint this 2012 and brought it to EuroMilitaire 2012. I really enjoyed painting this big guy.

John, I'm a big fan of your work, like all of other pF members.

I especially love your 1/16 and 1/9 figures. I have most of your 1/9 figs, still using them as my sculpting reference. I always admire your great works.

Your last post John , the last pic/figure I have not seen seen before and your pics are so much clearer. If you hadn't noticed I also am a big fan of your work, please keep posting pics.

Also that snow and hut is also crazy it's hard to know what to look at sometimes the figure or the bases you put them on, all of it together is pure art/talent

If you have bigger/clearer pics of your 1/16 S&T figures I would love to see them

So much awesomeness in this thread. I am fortunate to have a large percentage of the big scale guys in my stash, and I am always looking out for the the ones I don't have to add to the army.

John, do you know what became of the S&T masters and molds, especially for their 1/16th figs, and 1/9 Mountain man? Any chance they might see the light of day again?

I am hoping that John and Apline miniatures keep coming out with the 1/16 figures. Love it when we get a 1/16 pair that go together. Wouldn't my seeing an updated version on these in 1/16

As far as I know the owner Jim Sullivan closed down due to health issues years ago. Since then the excellent figure-line vanished unfortunately.

Cheers, Martin

Understood, but I am wondering what became of the masters and any usable molds for the figures. It's sad to think that they may be sitting in a storage building somewhere gathering dust, rotting, or worse yet, destroyed outright.

Wonderful work in all aspects. Lucky to see it here posted!

Cheers,
Pedro.

Kaz and Martin great to see your renditions of the figures and happy you guys want to paint them ....thank you Mr. BMB for buying three ;)
Jason I would say Martin is correct that Jim due to some health issues. I believe Jim still has the masters

Hello John,

Awesome job on your latest Airborne figure (as usual....;)). Great to see a good overview of your body of work
in the hobby. I also have some of your figures in my stash for future projects & as others have mentioned, to
serve as sculpting reference (always inspiring).
