Fascinating and looking very good. Is that a blue light under the circle? It looks really cool...

A little color on the background assembly.

Playing with the LEDs now; still lots of painting & construction of the fire & groundwork to continue. This is overly blue; I have more white LEDs on order, I can control their color with theatre lighting gels. Small lights will be added on the ridge in the back to dimly light the building. The smoke also just a make-do using cotton balls. Lots of refining needed.

Looking good. Do please share how you use LEDs, that's one aspect I would really like to understand better.
The best source for info is Evans Designs who stock a great selection and are super helpful if you have questions. All their items already have the electronic stuff I don’t understand (resistors and whatnot) pre wired so no figuring out boards, soldering (unless you want to for stronger connections) etc. See their info page here, with tons of tutorial videos at the bottom of the page: https://evandesigns.com/pages/tips-for-using-leds. Can’t recommend them highly enough! If you can match red to red and black to black and twist wires together, you can do it.

It's already looking amazing Matt. Incredibly imaginative, well done!

Thanks for the info on LEDs. one day I will definitely give this a go.......
