Oh that means actually search through the obscure ones. So I'll settle for Thin Lizzy Whiskey in the Jar, more highwayman than pirate but the concept is the same.

Hi Sink Briggs was right about the cannon ball , you got it right at the end. It’s looking great love it.
The music is good to but come up with a great one but it’s a bit obscure very pirate through I think it’s from 1967 and it’s by Simon Du Pre and the big sound it’s called Broken Hearted pirates. Look it up it’s great I have the album it’s off the same band did Kites.
Well crack open the Rum relax and listen to some good old music .

This thread is becoming a little surreal, as much as the music is bloody brilliant it's making me feel old. Simon Dupree , I was two, I've always wondered what Warren Zevon was on and could you get further apart than Mark Knopfler and Bob Marley, well probably but you know what I mean. In the mean time that cannon ball.is just about s right as it could be.!

Well that was a blast from the past Broken hatred Pirates love it. I’ve been told by my good friend Ian that this band went on to become Gentle Giant, and that they were from Portsmouth more naval connections. Yes the thread is getting surreal lol. But in a good way.
Warren Zevon as some very surreal songs that’s for sure have a few of his albums can highly recommend giving him a try.
The cannon ball is looking great that’s for sure, it’s going to look different again with the arch. Loving it.
Think I will dig out the Simon Dupree cd and have a blast of the song again lol I was 8 when that little ditty came out. How time flies.

I glue the model and primer! I use grey for the arch and blue grey for the front of the base
