WIP Critique The Waterloo "clash"(2) Scots Grey

Hello,

After showing the preparing of the Waterloo clash vignette I show now the first finished mounted figure, the famous Scots Grey.
A lot of work on the Whites and greys of the horse but I hope you like it.
Added some photos I have used for references.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful artist you are.
I tried dapple grey (not sure it is spelled correctly)
twice. Not easy to make it look just right. But you,
Sir are so talented. Lovely photos too

A lovely bit of painting - really crisp. Just out of interest, there are references for the lettering on the valise which state yellow and blue - were there both types used at this period?

My gosh!! How did you finish so quickly? All I have managed to do so far is to prep the horse halves and head of the lancer's horse for assembly. The figure looks very good especially the horse.

I have seen it. Several references tells different colors for the letters. I have chosen for yellow...

I recognize it. You need a lot of time to fit the body of the horse. But when it is glued together, the pose of the horses are amazing!
