Check out the photographs of Laura Sheridan on which this is based. Trying NMM. This is the result of day one, mostly focused on the face.

Hi Matt

Not my subject but that face is looking good , the hairs will look very striking and the NMM is sure coming along nicely

Got to ask what colours are you using for it ?

Following with much interest

Have fun @ the bench

Lovely work on the face. Have fun with the NMM, not an effect I like at all but having said that it's beyond my skill level anyway!

Really nice face and the armour is looking good, looking forward to seeing your progress.

Cheers Simon

You've made an excellent start on this, even at this stage the NMM is looking good.

Hi Matt

This young lady is definitely working on the NMM , I find sometimes it’s hard to know when to stop !

Glad the videos were of some use

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

The AK book figure painting FAQ with Kirill Kanaev is an excellent book and covers NMM in enormous detail.
Coming on leaps and bounds

I feel like I’ve read that section of his book a thousand times. It doesn’t sink in until you’ve actually done it a hundred times :)

He makes it look so easy and effortless. It is beyond me...besides and don't tell anyone... I don't really like it.. I appreciate the art and skill but it is all to shiny for my taste. Armour is generally not that shiny especially on campaign. Yours on the other hand is shaping up to be more realistic.
