Your work is coming on very well.
Improving with each piece. Keep up the good work.

Looking good, Simon!
Don't go too far if you do change those highlights, in fact don't go very far at all, at the moment you have a really good balance on the intensity of colour from the face, down the tunic and trousers to the boots.
He is looking great.
Hi Simon,
Sorry mate just caught up on this post. Amazing progress look forward to seeing the final figure.
Great catching up with last Sunday at BUGLE CALL.
Terry.
Excellent progress, the shadows and highlights look spot on to me.

Have to say it’s looking very good indeed keep it going, battle through the cold keep painting it will take your mind off it.

Having only recently reviewed this figure I have been very keen to start it, so here goes.
Very little clean up required and only a slight gap to fill attaching his right arm. I added the waterbottle and bayonet, the latter I am sure I will regret before he is done, I should have left it off to avoid breaking it.
Primed as normal with cellulose gray car primer and a couple of coats of Vallejo Elfic Flesh and he's ready to go.
I have only base coated the face and added some underpainting to contour the face.

I'll leave that to dry for a while as I'm being sent to the shops!
Cheers Simon
Beatiful looking figure,
I like the base color you used for this chap.
Following with interest.
