I love Mike's works, so this is going to be an absolute must.
The model cellar line is always full of pathos

Thanks to all that stopped by our table for this beauty from Mike Blank. Mike was at the show and we were discussing this comment from Edorta: "

very "human" in all senses". Mike said "yes, you must find the person and the emotion FIRST, then sculpt the figure around it. Not sculpt the figure and then add a face". By the way, this figure is the first of an eventual 3 figure set that will also involve a Drummer boy - essentially a Civil War version of our Valley Forge set (also done by Mike) .​

Now that MFCA is behind us, I've got my work cut out getting all these previews (and a few others) into full production. It's going to be a busy spring and summer =)).

I picked up all 3 of Model Cellars new releases and I’ve gotta tell ya they are beautiful. Mike Blank is one of my favorite sculptors and the Union officer does not disappoint. Great stuff as usual Paul!
