A figure that has been on the table for a long time is about to be completed. It is a flag of the Rgt. Royal Two Bridges at the Battle of Yorktown in 1781.

The piece was sculpted from the mannequin, head and hands by Figurinitaly.
The rest is Terracotta milliput, time and patience.
the flag is a copper sheet rolled around the pole and moved.

The reference documentation is the beautiful table of Rigo... what could be better?

I haven't published anything for a long time... I have many projects running in parallel and sometime some of them can be call finished.

here the last one a kettkledrummer of the Berry cavalry in 1720.
The figure is based on a publication written by Jean-Claude Colrat and edited by Le Briquet. Are 4 volumes on the french Kettkedrummers along the centuries rich of details and beautiful drawings.

The figure was sculpted starting with Figurinitaly head and hands, the rest? Milliput terracotta , some historex parts, a metal modeles horse and a lot of work and funny research on a field not usual for me

Working on Bruno Leibovitz's pieces is always a subtle and rewarding pleasure.

This new project is a combination of Leibovitz pieces and Figurinitaly components. It is a portrait of Lasalle in 1803, as a colonel in the 10th Hussars.
the original inspiration comes from the below painting from Patrice Corcelle

Le colonel Lasalle (futur général) du 10ème hussard à Salamanque en 1803.jpg

Different from the usual iconography for which the character is known. The open dolman is taken from Lasalle's Figurinitaly kit (FI08) to which I mounted a Figurinitaly head likeness on which I sculpted the beak and added the mustache.

Two new arms have been sculpted to give a hint of realism in more, Figurinitaly hands have completed the work.
