Dear painting mates,
a few years ago I came across a fascinating figure set while surfing on eBay. The group showed a scene of the movie "Aliens", James Cameron, 1986, where Pvt. Vasquez, played by Jenette Goldstein fought her last life-or-death-struggle in the tubes of the ventilation system on LV-426.
The resin figures' scale is about 1:10. The manufacturer is likely a small garage company named "Miniations".
I bought this set, overpainted it as I was not satisfied with the original painting work and arranged it on a base.
I had a label lasered with a special "Aliens"-font I found in the internet.
This small dio made a perfect birthday present for my sister who is a true fan of this movie and especially of the character Vasquez.
She was completely excited when she got it and now it's got a place of honor on her living room bookshelf.
I thought you might like it as well. Here are the pictures, have a good time!
