Well you lot have inspired me a plenty....
I have been looking for comic book characters tgat I can maje next year for display at Scale model world in Telford Nov 2017.

I have decided to paint and display Spiderman, TinTin, General Jumbo amd Asterix de Gaul.
I shall be making other things and these references
are going to help other folks in the club too.

please carry on posting for pure interest but from us all at IPMS Kitmaker uk British Bulldogs...Sincere thanks to all of you so very much.

I have been tempted to do Desperate Dan/ Dennis the Menace and Billy Wizz......
I shall add a Conan to my list of 'makes' , maybe also a Snoopy/Charlie Brown/Peanuts too

Comic strips really never caught my fancy, except for maybe Prince Valiant. I was more of a fan of comic books which would be loaned back an forth between me and my friends. With a wide range of interests between us, we covered a ton of titles in the 70's and 80's. Some of the ones that I liked the best were Alien Legion (still have a few of those in the attic), The 'Nam, Savage Tales, X-Men, Weird War, and couple of others I'm forgetting right now.

I only know the Prince Valiant one I have seen those.....great artwork.l, thanks for sharing.
